Park Information

The Long Beach Unit is named after the 16km sandy beach of Wickaninnish Bay.

Beachwalks & Tides: If you are planning a beach walk be sure to check the local tide guide before you leave as some of the beaches are fully covered upon high tide.

Bathroom Facilities: Available at all parking lots.

Dogs: Allowed, but must be on a leash. Please don't let your dog chase the shorebirds as it is critical to their survival and breeding success that they are able to rest and feed.

Camping: Not allowed on any of the beaches or in the parking areas. Green Point campground is the only camping spot in the park.

Parking: Campers, recreational vehicles, and bus's are able to park only at certain lots as many of the parking areas are not big enough to accommodate them.

Parking Fee's: You can optain parking passes at most parking lots or at the visitors center. Fee's apply to all parking lots within the park.
